Preston meets Mondragon
Event
Join UCLan's Centre for Citizenship and Communities for a symposium with visiting guests from Mondragon Corporation (Basque Country) and Q&A from the public.
About this event
The University of Central Lancashire has been supporting and researching the Preston Model since 2012.
In 2018, UCLan hosted a symposium with experts from Mondragon and the United States, feeding knowledge and experience into the development of the Preston Model. Since then, much has happened.
The present symposium brings together experts from Mondragon in co-operative consultancy, management, social innovation, education, and banking in synergy with the growing co-operative ecosystem design for Preston.
This event is hosted by the Faculty of Allied Health and Well-being, The School of Social Work, Care and Community and the Centre for Citizenship and Community.
