Agricultural Co-operatives Summit 2026

Leaders from across the UK's farming and food co‑operative sector will come together at the headquarters of Arla Foods near Leeds for a landmark summit organised by Co‑operatives UK.

The summit will bring together some of the country's most successful farmer-owned businesses, alongside representative organisations from across the UK, including SAOS, EFFP and the National Farmers' Union. It is a unique opportunity to shape the future of agricultural co‑operation.

Agricultural co‑operatives already generate billions of pounds of economic value. They help farmers increase their resilience, strengthen supply chains, invest for the long term and compete in global markets. Yet there is huge, untapped potential for co‑operatives to help deliver a more productive, sustainable and resilient food system.

What the summit will cover

• Sharing ideas and examples of world-leading co‑operative practice
• Identifying opportunities to grow the impact of agricultural co‑operatives across the UK
• Developing practical policy proposals that enable farmer-owned businesses to flourish
• Strengthening collaboration across the sector at a pivotal moment for UK agriculture

Who should attend

The summit is open to leaders and representatives of agricultural and food co‑operatives, farmer-owned businesses and organisations that support the sector. Organisations are welcome to send more than one representative.
