Do It Different, Stockport
Event
A new event for young people to discover how co-ops and community-led organisations offer a better way of doing the things that matter to you – from work and housing to where you shop and socialise.
We want to help get more young people involved in co-ops and community led projects. That's we’re getting young people together at this event to ignite that spark.
Do It Different is a place to learn, connect and imagine better ways of doing things – inspiring collaboration and giving young people the chance to develop ideas and explore co‑operative future projects and solutions for the problems they face.
Relaxed, welcoming and fun, the event will show how co‑ops put people at the heart of decision‑making and how they can be used to create change in your community or workplace. It will give you an insight into alternative ways of setting up businesses, making decisions and working together.
So join us at PINK MCR in Stockport – a member-run art gallery, studio and event space – for a lively evening of connection, creativity and co-operation.
What you’ll get out of it
As well as making connections with like-minded people, firing your imagination and gaining valuable new insights, it’s our aim that you’ll end the evening with ideas, inspiration and knowledge of where to find information and support that empowers you to take any next steps.
