Join this free 'Is a co-op right for you?' webinar as the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy shines a spotlight on co-operatives and non-financial mutuals though its work with Business Lincolnshire.

This upcoming webinar is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Funding and is FREE to attend for eligible organisations. It is presented by Co-operatives UK in partnership with the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy (Lincoln Bishop University).

Part 1: Is a co-op right for you? – Co-operatives UK (12pm - 1pm)

Are you looking for a different approach to your business or community enterprise? Or are you thinking of starting a business and you want it to be equitable, inclusive and empowering for everyone involved? Then this webinar is for you.

Co-operative and community owned businesses are run by their members to meet their shared needs. Members have a say in how the co‑op is run, making it a fairer, more collaborative and democratic way of doing business.

Join this one‑hour webinar to find out more about co‑ops, the benefits they offer and how to get a co‑op business off the ground. This webinar is part of a national series delivered by Co-operatives UK in partnership with The Co-operative Bank.

Part 2: Have Your Say – Responding to the Government’s Call for Evidence on Business Support for Co-operatives and Non-financial Mutuals. (1pm - 2pm)

As Business Lincolnshire’s specialist adviser programme for the Social Economy, the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy at Lincoln Bishop University has been tasked with co-ordinating the Business Lincolnshire response to the current call for evidence regarding co-operatives and non-financial mutuals in the county.

This session will include a focus group to gather collective views from the sector, as well as encouraging responses to the call for evidence by individuals and organisations.
