What is The National Youth Summit?

The National Youth Summit is a FREE event that brings together young people, leaders, change-makers and creators to empower the younger generation through the principles of co‑operation.

The Youth Summit will take place alongside our flagship event for the co-operative movement, Co-op Congress. Access to the Saturday of Congress will be free to all attendees of the National Youth Summit. 

Who can attend?

The annual event is open to all young people under 30. There is something for everyone at the National Youth Summit – whether you are already involved with co-operatives or have no idea what a co-op is!

Where is The National Youth Summit?

The event is taking place at the the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, in the heart of Birmingham city centre and just a 20-minute walk from New Street train station. A limited number of travel bursaries are available – email [email protected] to enquire. 

Please note: Co-operatives UK is unable to provide letters of invitation for international delegates.

Sessions will include: 

• Better together: Building new communities
• How to be a modern day creative
• Living consciously: 5 simple ways to make a difference
• Empowering co-operation: Giving young people a voice
