Join Cooperatives West Midlands on a guided ride of the Rea Valley cycle route and visit the many worker-led co-operatives along the way. Find out how cycling in the city is evolving; explore the social and environmental benefits of travelling by bike and connect with the social enterprises that can help you make the switch to two wheels.
Meeting point: where the River Rea crosses Cartland Road, Stirchley. 1pm on 31 March, with stops in Balsall Heath and Digbeth finishing at the Warehouse Café for coffee. Then returning to the start point at Cartland Road.
Most of the hourney is on marked cycle routes (off-road and on-road. The guided ride will taake in Stirchley, Cannon Hill Park, Balsall Heath, Highgate and Digbeth. All abilities are welcome.
