A Co-operative Region - Cambridge

Co-operative Region

This free and friendly day event celebrates co-operatives and co-operation in the East of England as well as the centenary of the Co-operative Party. It is an opportunity for people to come together, to find out what is happening in our region and further field as well as to form ideas and connections for the future.

All are very welcome to attend. You may be involved in or with co-operatives, be a member of the Co-operative Party, have an interest in co-operative ways of working or just want to find out more.

There will be fantastic speakers, stimulating discussion sessions and time to chat as well as a good lunch!

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Dame Pauline Green - The Co-operative World Today
  • Gavin Shuker MP - 100 years of the Co-operative Party
  • Sally Kelly - Co-operatives East and co-operation in the East
  • Mark Merrywest (Co-operative Education East)
  • TBC (East of England Co-operative)
  • Adrian Ashton

First Question Co-operative will be running the discussion sessions, while stands and space for literature are available. For more information contact Sarah at [email protected] or visit the Co-operatives East website.
