Your premises and equipment

Help your readers understand what is needed to house the production of your co-operative's products and/or services and what equipment is needed.

This section looks at the facilities and equipment required for your business or organisation to function. It will also ask you to define how these will help to promote the businesses and services you offer.

Equipment could include: production kit, office equipment, software, essential training and any legislation you will have to comply with. 

Refer back to where you defined your commercial activity in the Your co-operative business model  section of your feasibility study.

Outline your premises and equipment needs

Populate the premises and equipment section of your business plan, using this template:

Make sure you to include descriptions of: the facilities that will house production and organisation; how they will contribute to the marketing effort; the equipment you will need; and any production kit, office equipment, software, essential training, legislation you will have to comply with.
