Community Shares Booster Programme – England
We can support your community share offers in England with development grants and matched investment. There are three pathways of support to choose from.
Pathway 1 is designed for groups who are on their way to finalising their community share offer but need additional development support to get them to launch.
Investment ready community businesses will be in the final stages of preparing their community share offer, and are ready to apply for equity match of up to £100,000.
In exceptional circumstances we will accept applications for equity match of up to £100,000 from community businesses that are about to launch (in less than three months), or have already launched their share offer.
More than £155 million has been raised through community shares by 104,203 people since 2012. We work to grow the community shares market through our leadership in best practice standards and investing in communities through the Booster Programme.
Booster funding matched the investment provided by over 800 local residents to fund the restoration of Stretford Public Hall’s Victorian grade II listed ballroom, for community use.
