Webinar - Managing conflict in worker co-ops (1hr)

Type: Practical guides  |  Topic: Employment  |  Format: Webinar

Conflict is part of everyday life, though we don’t always know how to deal with it effectively.

In worker co-ops it can be a challenge to raise key issues and concerns with your fellow worker colleagues, who all have equal ownership rights.

Recorded at Holyoake House on 11 December 2019, click the hour-long webinar above to hear some best practice advice; the importance of knowing the processes; plus a discussion between Kate Fielding and Britta Werner. In the final section the panellists answer questions from webinar attendees.

Kate Fielding is Co-operatives UK's HR reward and policy manager with 10 years' experience in co-operative HR. Kate is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development specialising in policy and provides expert advice, guidance and support on all aspects of the employment journey, including what's required by law as an employer.

Britta Werner is a member and director at Unicorn Grocery, a worker co-operative in Manchester. With 10 years' experience in HR, Britta is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development and a HR generalist, with a specific focus on performance and culture.
