Join Co-operatives UK for this event on Wednesday 12 May from 3.30-5pm. Co-op Connections is a series of events that enables co-ops to connect, learn and discuss topical themes.
About the event
This event aims to unite and connect co-ops based in London and the surrounding areas.
In addition, we'll be running this a 'collaborative coaching' sessions as they've been game-changing for some of our members when we've run them at physical events in the past.
This session will explore how to share and probe work related challenges in an environment that's willing you to succeed. Collaborative Coaching helps you air an obstacle directly related to your organisation. With many ears on your issue a trusting and intimate setting helps guide you through your options.
Come along armed with a stubborn issue and, using Action Learning Sets and breakout rooms, let the unique collaborative coaching sessions take your business networking to another level.
Why Collaborative Coaching? We find people often leave with a clear set of options to move forward and 'coaches' leave with a way of tackling meetings like never before! Best of all Co-op Connections events are FREE to members.

About the facilitators
Gareth Wright, Member Relations Co-ordinator, Co-operatives UK
Gareth has been finding solutions to common business needs for almost 20 years. He’s worked with clients from a range of sectors in the UK and across Europe. Since joining Co-operatives UK in 2012, he’s been working directly with our members to ensure they have access to practical advice and guidance. He also delivers training and hosts local networking events. Gareth is never too far from co-ops, as he’s an active member of his local credit union, a co-op pub and a brewery. In his spare time, you’ll find him walking in the hills or riding one of his bikes.
Irena Pistun, Member Relations Co-ordinator, Co-operatives UK
Irena joined Co-operatives UK as member relations coordinator in May 2018. Coming from a media, PR and stadium events background she has handled big budgets and big stories but was seeking bigger values. A committed Christian and treasurer for her local church and community centre, Irena is passionate about diversifying the co-op sector and talking to members about using their values (and zero budgets) to raise their own profiles.
