Co-op Connections: Ideas Generator
Event
Join Co-operatives UK for a 15 minute talk with one of our members followed by networking on Wednesday 27 April from 3.30pm-4.30pm.
About the event
The Ideas Generator is a 15-minute talk based on ideas, co-op practices or resources that are worth spreading to ALL.
Hear about some of the hidden innovations that make up the incredible array of co-ops across the UK.
Idea Generator talks are all about the strength of the idea and not the speaker. If you have something up your co-op sleeve, speak to the membership team here at Co-operatives UK. Together we will generate a pool of alternative business ideas for all to share.

About the speakers
Zahida Palma, Co-Founder, We-Guild
Spanish-born Zahida Palma has spent more than 20 years as a full-time professional dancer. Cutting her teeth at the Teatro de Madrid, she brought her dancing to London in 2014. Today Zahida uses dance as a way of working with women who may have experienced domestic abuse. She is also co-founder of the online co-operative, We-Guild. The site provides people with a way to 'chip in for each other' and share money when its needed most.
Irena Pistun, Member Relations Co-ordinator, Co-operatives UK
Irena joined Co-operatives UK as member relations coordinator in May 2018. Coming from a media, PR and stadium events background, she has handled big budgets and big stories (though has always sought bigger values). A treasurer for her local church and community centre, Irena is passionate about diversifying the co-op sector and talking to members about using their values (and zero budgets) to raise their co-op profile.
