We are a member owned co-operative with over 1900 members in Wales.

Our aim is to encourage a sustainable future for both agriculture and the rural way of life in Wales through the sharing of resources between members. As a member owned co-op company we are driven by the needs and demands of our members. We act as an information hub for our members, and keep data on all machinery, labour and services on offer by them. This can include livestock, land to let, fodder, surplus seeds, fertiliser etc.

Why share resources? With diminishing margins in agriculture and very little control on market prices we must look at our input costs with closer detail. Do we have too much capital tied up in machinery? Are they fully utilised? Is there a cheaper or better way to carry out the work?
For example a tractor costing GBP 27,000 and only being utilised 500 hours per year is costing you GBP 23/hour to use compared to hiring in with an operator for GBP 12 -14/hour.
