Aizlewood's Group

Aizlewood was formed to contribute to the debate around public service mutuals and resist privatisation within the public sector specifically in local government.

*Aizlewood works to support co-operation and convergence between the trade union movement and co-operatives along with mutuals.

*We write blog articles, contribute to debates and provide speakers at conferences and events.

*We encourage the mutualisation of the private sector.

*Aizlewood is supported by UNISON, the biggest public sector trade union in the United Kingdom. We work with academics, co-operatives and other like minded organisations who share the principles of public sector provision.
