Belgrave Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing Association (BNCHA) provides good quality affordable homes for rent by local people. Our purpose is to work in partnership with our residents, funding agencies and local people to create sustainable communities. Based in the Belgrave area of Leicester, we work in an ethnically diverse community, and rent homes to people from a wide variety of cultures. We've a strong commitment to diversity and promoting equality of opportunity. As a community-based housing co-op, we're run entirely by and for our tenant members. Tenant members own and manage their housing collectively - so they are effectively their own landlord. This gives them a high level of control over their homes and their neighbourhood. Perhaps because of this, most tenant members tend to stay with BNCHA, so our homes are in high demand.
