Aberdeen Angus Quality Beef Limited
The Producer Co-operative, established in April 1998, was set up following a meeting in January 1998 of Aberdeen-Angus beef producers, who unanimously voted to form a producer group to market their stock. The group, consisting of 250 producer members, is Managed by a Board of Directors elected from within the membership. The objective of the Co-operative is to co-ordinate the procurement of members stock through the Foyle Food Group, who established a niche market for Aberdeen-Angus beef in Northern Ireland.
