Bedfordshire Growers Limited

The business was started in 1963 by a group of forward looking local farmers who realised that customers would require higher standards of crop presentation and marketing in the future. A co-operative was formed , land purchased , and crop marketing commenced in a small wooden building on a field, near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. A new Packhouse and office was constructed in 1966/7 and additional local staff employed- with a long tradition of Horticultural crop skills.
