Workshop 5 - The financial sector - there is an alternative ...
Primary tabs
Date:
Saturday, June 26, 2010 - 16:00 to 17:15
During the recent financial crisis, there has been a turn toward trusted, responsible finance providers and alternative ways of raising capital. Financial mutuals and co-operatives have benefited from this change in public attitudes. In this workshop we hear from some of the mutuals and co-operatives operating increasingly successfully in the financial sector – from building societies and mutuals insurers to businesses using community investment to raise finance and credit unions.
