Dave Boyle from Supporters Direct has sent through news of another potential co-operatively-owned football club. Furthermore, responding to a question posed by the local MP during Prime Minister's Questions, David Cameron backed the fans of Ilkeston Town who plan to relaunch the club after it was wound up.

This pamphlet looks at what might be done to increase the involvement of football supporters in their clubs. While there are a range of different initiatives that could be taken to improve on the current state of affairs, the most dramatic would perhaps be to 'mutualise' clubs, so that the customers - the supporters - become the owners.
