Meet our speaker - Agnes Bolsø

Associate Professor, Department of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Agnes Bolsø will deliver a keynote at the Gender forum, as part of Co-operatives United on 31 October 2012.
Agne Bolsø is also the Leader of the project 'Power and Privilege, Meaning and Management - Gender in the Boardroom', funded by the Research Council of Norway, as well as the Head of Gender Studies, Deputy in Department of Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies, former Editor of Norwegian Journal for Gender Studies.
Speaking at the 'Women in the boardroom' event - part of the Gender Forum - Bolsø will look at the impact quotas have made in Norway and in Norwegian business. The speech will last twenty minutes and will be followed by a twenty five minute panel discussion with other confirmed speakers, including Polly Toynbee.
The Gender Forum organised by the Co-operative Womens Challenge, will invite leading figures from the Co-operative Movement and further afield, to discuss the gender imbalance at the core of business and establish the role that co-operators can take to readdress this. Keynote presentations will be followed by case studies from a new generation of co-operators, to give an inspirational look at the future for women in business. To book your place, click here.
