Hopefully, you are all aware that 2012 is the UN International Year of Co-operatives and we intend to be part of the celebrations.

However, there is a feeling in the UK that we need to ensure that we create some legacy from these events.

Radical Routes quarterly business meetings and AGM, held at Talamh Housing Co-op, south of Glasgow.
Includes 3-hr business planning training session on the Friday, plus social audit session, discussion on the ethics of taking money for giving co-op advice and introductory workshops on Rad Routes, RR Finance, consensus decision-making and facilitation.
Accommodation is camping unless you can't.  Book if you want food.

Our First Steps Workshops are designed for business owners who are interested in testing whether employee ownership would be right for their company.
This full-day event focuses on the practicalities of moving to employee ownership and will give you everything you require to make a properly informed decision.
Participants will learn:

How do we prove to others that our activities are making a difference?

How much do people value changes in their lives that result from our services?

It is important to understand the value we create to know if we are making a difference or not, and what the difference is. Often we know anecdotally what difference we make and we have good evidence of the activities that we deliver.

But what about evidence of the results and outcomes? What do people do with the opportunities that we give them in their lives and in the world beyond our contact with them?
