The year across the world

From Argentina to Zambia, the 1.4 million co-operatives across the world will be using the International Year as an opportunity to promote their co-operative values and demonstrate how co-operatives build a better world.

From the official United Nations launch of the International Year of Co-operatives in New York at the end of October 2011 through to the closing festival in Manchester at the end of 2012 - via Ghanan football tournaments and Canadian economic summits - there are activities taking place everywhere throughout the year.
